How To Guide

JET 3270 Documentation > Scripting > Stopping

Stopping a script

There are two ways the user can stop a script directly: clicking the Stop Script button on the toolbar (its icon is a sheet of paper overlayed with a red octagon) and selecting Stop Script from the Connection menu. The Stop Script button is enabled when a script is running.

Disconnecting JET 3270 from the host will also stop a script that is running. The script will stop if the disconnection was intiated by the user, by the host, or by the script sending the disconnect key.
