End-user operating system and browser environments supported by JET 6530:

• Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.x, Windows 2000 and Windows XP:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2, 5.5 SP2 or 6 with Sun Java Virtual Machine 1.4 or later
  • Netscape 6 or later with Sun Java Virtual Machine 1.4 or later
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.01 SP2, 5.5 SP2 or 6 with Microsoft virtual machine (VM) build 3167 or later (*) and 128-bit encryption
  • Netscape Communicator 4.5 to 4.8 with built-in Netscape Java virtual machine

  (*) If you do not have a supported Microsoft VM then Platypus Partners recommends that you install the Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

• Solaris, HP-UX, Linux and AIX:
  • Netscape Communicator 4.51 to 4.8 with built-in Netscape Java virtual machine
• Mac OS X 10.1.1 or later:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1.3 or later

NonStop server system requirements for JET 6530

Comments: JET 6530 uses very few resources on your NonStop system, virtually any system is supported.

• K100 onwards server
• D30 or later operating system
• TCP/IP and Telnet 6530 software
• 32MB memory
• Optional: any web server

Network requirements

TCP/IP network connecting workstation and host, allowing a Telnet connection from the workstation to the TN6530 server on the host.

Note: JET 6530 does not support IPX or serial connections from the workstation.

NonStop Himalaya server system requirements for the JETGuard Secure Proxy Server

• K or S series server
• G06 or later operating system
• TCP/IP and Telnet 6530 software
• 8MB of disk space
